Computer Based Waste Management Tool - (WMT)
The computer based „Waste Management Tool“ was developed from Denkstatt to provide objective decision support for questions concerning designing and optimising waste management systems under a sustainable point of view. In the past we used it for example to support assessment of measures of the Austrian landfill directive and the optimisation of beverage packaging quotas as well as the optimisation of collection and recycling of plastic waste.

Cost-Benefit Analysis in Waste Management
|
By
comprehensive analyses and evaluation of different waste management options in
the course of Cost-Benefit Analyses business and socio-economic effects and
environmental effects are quantified and compared. By this means the optimal
options can be identified. Achievable savings of business costs and
socio-economic costs are enormous. Denkstatt is one of the leading providers of
Cost-Benefit Analyses in the European Union.

Optimisation of Packaging Management
|
Due to
growing concurrency optimization measures in packaging waste management are
gaining importance. Especially since waste management in Central Europe
represents a dynamic market that is characterized by changes. Changes of
internal and external frame conditions, like adjustments in collection systems,
variations in resource prices and technical developments often mean difficultly
traceable consequences. This can lead to the situation that fees to partners and
subcontractors are substantially higher than the actual costs there, or that
systems are run suboptimal. Denkstatt supports you in evaluating and optimizing
your specific field of activity and economic surroundings.

Non Product Costing (NPC)
In NON PRODUCT COSTING project costs for waste, sewage and used air (Non
Products) are calculated. In that way the potentials of the cost reduction can
be detected.
