After completing his studies in agriculture technique and water management at the BOKU in Vienna and a post graduate year at the Technical University of Munich, Christian worked at the Institute for Applied Microbiology for 5 years till completing his dissertation. In 1993 together with some friends from the “young industries” he founded DENKSTATT. He is mainly involved in the fields sustainable development, integrated management, risk management and climate protection and is totally engaged in anchoring DENKSTATT in a network with other different organisations. When he is not working, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters going hiking, swimming, jogging, or just being at home. Great passion :Music……

Founder and managing partner of DENKSTATT
Studies in agriculture technique and water management, dissertation in biotechnology, civil engineer and certified environmental expert for EMAS, leading auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Currently his main focus is on projects for strategy development of organizations, especially in connection with climate protection and CO2-management, risk management as well as on the consultation of financial service providers in the range of sustainable development.
Besides his broad experience in consulting industrial companies of different sectors he was CEO of the Young Industry Vienna for many years, member of the environmental commitee of the Federation of Austrian Industry, advisor at VNU (European Forum for Environmental Management Experts, Germany ), former CEO of the Institute for environmental expert, environmental auditors and consultants (IdU), as well as a member in other committees of ministries and interest groups related with environmental topics. Lecture and teaching activities at universities, as well as the administration of the management area in the MAS-studies (master of advanced science) „environmental management“ at the NÖ Landesakademie.
